Contractual Arrangements
- FOUNDATION "CRY FOR HELP", hereinafter referred to as the Organizer, is obliged to ensure the following:
INTERNATIONAL BALINT FEDERATION hereinafter referred to as the Federation, accepts and recognizes as adequate the following: - Obligations of the Organizer:
- To ensure that all the necessary conditions and facilities for the Congress, including accommodation, meals, entertainment and logistics are provided.
- To ensure compliance with the schedule of the Scientific Program as agreed with the IBF, by turning the unsigned letter presented to the IBF Board in Chicago (attached) from the hotel company into a legally binding amendment to the contract between the hotel company and the Cry for Help Foundation
- To respect all the conditions and terms listed on the webpage www.balintcongress2009.com as obligations of the Organizer
- Support the participation fee and accommodation costs for the 3 Ascona Prize students
- To grant a bonus of 115 EUR/person for the participation fee for the participants from the following countries: Serbia, Bulgaria, Moldova. (The participation fee for the participants and accompanying persons from the countries listed above is only 195 EUR/person)
- To issue written invitations to those participants who require them in order to obtain Visas. We advise all participants to obtain the necessary information about Visa requirements, and to obtain them if needed.
- To ensure transport of participants from and to the airport before and after the Congress. Transport to the airport on the 9th September is guaranteed for all participants with departing flights from 17.00 onwards, provided that the organizing committee is informed in advance.
- The Organizer does not guarantee or assume any obligation regarding or arising from the following:
- Personal injuries of the participants other than the ones suffered and/or caused during the programs and activities that are supervised by the Organizer.
- Damages and/or monetary prejudice caused by any kind of pick-pocketing and/or theft. In order to ensure their personal belongings all participants should take care of their individual packages and personal valuables, especially at the airport and on public transport facilities.
- The costs and expenses of treatment for any acute, virulent illnesses. It is advised that all the participants should have medical insurance for the period of their time in Romania.
- Any injuries or damage caused by, or resulting from natural disasters.
- Obligations of the Participants:
- To respect the schedule of the programmed events.
- Not to cause any damage to the hotel or the Congress site facilities.
- To take all complaints to the Organizing Committee rather than to the hotel staff.
